Yvonne D. Hall, MD
Medical Director and Founder
Dr. Hall is board certified in both General and Geriatric Psychiatry, and has over 15 years of experience in the Mental Health area. Dr. Hall completed residency in General Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University and in Geriatric Psychiatry at Yale Medical School. She has researched and presented in professional symposia on various topics, notably on special problems of Hispanic and Spanish speaking elders, dementia and “yelling out” behaviors in geriatric patients. Dr. Hall has both correctional and educational experience as a Psychiatrist for the Metropolitan Detention Center in Albuquerque NM and as an Asst. Prof. and Attending Psychiatrist at the University of NM Mental Health Center . A native Spanish speaker, Dr. Hall practices in English or Spanish . She is licensed in the state of New Mexico .
Jimmy Calzado is a Board Certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of New Mexico. He obtained his Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His previous psychiatric experience includes clinical rotations in Las Cruces at Ben Archer Health Clinics, Southwest Counseling Center, and Mesilla Valley Hospital. His previous work experience includes charge nurse at Mesilla Valley Hospital’s acute adult/geriatric psychiatric ward, staff RN at Dona Ana County Detention Center, and a staff RN at Memorial Medical Center’s critical care unit in Las Cruces, NM. He also spent a year as a travel nurse working in the intensive care unit in hospitals in Arlington, TX as well as in Tuba City, AZ. He has been a resident of New Mexico for the past 18 years and was primarily raised in Florida. His focus is medication management for a variety of mental health conditions in the adult and geriatric population.
Sarah Taylor, PMHNP, PhD.
Dr. Sarah Taylor is a Nurse practitioner with a special interest in psychiatric mental health care. She graduated from University of Texas as a psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She also holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Health Care. Dr. Taylor specializes in diagnosing and treating mental health problems, and also provides medication management services. She has both inpatient and outpatient experience in treating acute and chronic mental health conditions for the past 5 years. She is instrumental in demonstrating that proper medication management in mental health conditions can prevent relapses in psychiatric patients. Her area of specialty includes treating patients suffering from ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression, and Schizoaffective Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Insomnia and several other mental health conditions. Her other areas of interest includes: weight loss management, hormonal disorders in both male and female population, and sexual disorders due to hormonal issues related to aging or medication side effects.
